Director Bryan Singer revealed that X-Men: Apocalypse would be hitting theaters in 2016 and now it’s been confirmed that he will be directing the film.
We’ve now learned that after X-Men: Days of Future Past is finished, Bryan Singer will start pre-production on Apocalypse and later direct the film. This will be the first time in 10 years that Singer will direct two X-Men films back to back.
Vulture reports that while Days of Future Past weaves together the veteran X-Men cast and the First Class cast, X-Men: Apocalypse will only focus on the characters that were introduced in X-Men: First Class.

Preview pages from SAVAGE WOLVERINE from acclaimed artist Richard Isanove. The series starts in January.
The year is 1933 at the height of Prohibition. Dust storms rage in the Midwest – and the man who will become the Wolverine makes his living carrying whiskey across the border from Canada. That is, until he finds himself the accidental caretaker of a group of orphans who’ve been targeted by the mob.
Now, the first “X-Man” must choose between the anonymous life he’s chosen or stepping out into the spotlight to defend the innocent once more.
